We hope that information on this website gives you a greater understanding of our work and of the importance of ordaining women in the Catholic Church into a renewed ordained ministry.

OCW Inc. is a national group of women and men who advocate the ordination of women into a renewed ordained ministry in the Catholic Church.

We believe that an ordained ministry of both women and men will make the Church's spiritual life richer, more open to understanding the challenges that women, men and children face, and more able to bring God's love and wisdom to the complex problems of our world.

OCW in Action

OCW seeks opportunities to shape change in the Church and increase the participation of women in church leadership.

OCW supports women's call to ordination through annual conferences, publications, seminars lectures, media releases and public actions.

OCW provides spokespersons for television and radio news and material for print journalists.

OCW maintains links with international organisations committed to the ordination of women and has a representative on the Women's Ordination Worldwide (WOW) Steering Committee as well as being a signatory to the eleven resolutions passed at the inaugural conference of Women's Ordination Worldwide held in Dublin in July 2001.
